A leading advocate for artisans, makers & the global craft sector

关于我们

Founded in 2006, Nest has been a leading advocate for the handcraft sector for more than 15 years. We believe in the power of craft to advance gender equity and economic equality through handcraft. Craft—the second largest employer of women around the world—holds the power to educate children, feed families, build communities, and unite cultures. This is why we are committed to supporting artisans, makers, and creative entrepreneurs by bringing radical transparency and economic opportunity to the global handcraft sector.

In honor and celebration of International Women's Day, Nest partnered together with Anthropologie to host in-store pop-up markets featuring local women-owned businesses from the Nest community. In Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City, makers had the opportunity to showcase and sell their handcrafted products in their local Anthropologie stores. Customers shopped everything from jewelry to home goods, connecting with the makers, and having the chance to hear about their unique stories of craft. Nest is proud to work with Anthropologie, a longstanding partner committed to supporting makers and artisans in the U.S. and globally.
