Nesivos serves as Lakewood’s support center for youth and their families. We provide assessments, direction, and advocacy in connecting clients and their families with the ideal resources to most effectively address their situation. Our licensed professionals provide an in-depth evaluation and create a treatment plan based on each client's unique needs and circumstances. Our extensive resources and case management services allow us to provide our clients with a clear path forward. Mental health and emotional well being is something that needs more attention and resources. We have invested a lot in our last budget but we must do more. One key challenge is access. I was delighted to join the Nesivos team at their ribbon cutting ceremony for their new IOP center. Places like this are addressing the need, and we must support them.
