Florence Regional Airport (FLO) has partnered with BETA Technologies, an electric aerospace company based in Burlington, Vermont, to install electric charging infrastructure at its airport. The charger, which is designed to power the next generation of electric aircraft, marks the first installation of such infrastructure in the state of South Carolina.
