During the NESA Executive Committee meeting on Friday, June 28, 2024, Mrs. Jean Leatherman received a proclamation on behalf of the late Chairman Hugh K. Leatherman, Sr. Former Mayor of the City of Florence Stephen Wukela and former Florence County Councilman Frank "Buddy" Brand presented the proclamation for a key to the City of Florence, which was to have been presented to Chairman Leatherman in 2020.
