Earlier this week, David Matthew participated in the inaugural Marsh McLennan Media Forum in London. He shared his view that the rise of streaming services, supportive government policies, and a willingness to accept behavioral remedies may pave the way for consolidation in the media sector. The event, hosted by NERA and our sister companies, brought together 50 leaders across the media, entertainment, and investment community to discuss industry trends spanning investor views, regulation, talent strategy, and the changing risks driven by AI and other innovations. A huge thank you to our panelists—Matt Muir from Private Eye, Ian Whittaker from Liberty Sky Advisors, Greg Pryor from Reed Smith LLP, and Tim Gordon from Best Practice AI—for sharing their perspectives on the new risks, opportunities, and future potentials in the dynamic media industry. Additional thanks to panel moderator Beverley Adams from Marsh, speakers from across Mercer, and our sister businesses Oliver Wyman, Marsh, and Mercer. Look for more information on the event and further media insights coming soon. #Media #Innovation #GenAI
