We’ve always had big ambitions, and next year is no exception. Here’s what we’re hoping to achieve in 2025... Resolution #1: Launch the First bluesign® Product Tent on the Market Tents are notoriously tough to produce in a way that’s both sustainable and top performing. Our OSMO fabric innovation was a huge step in the right direction, and we’re ready to push the category even further. Resolution #2: Expand Endless Promise® to Use More Materials Our initial forays into circular design have focused on polyester as the primary material family. If we can use other materials, as well, that unlocks more performance potential. Resolution #3: Continue Using NEMO as a Force for Good We have a responsibility as an outdoor brand to help protect the lands we recreate on, and we’ll keep partnering with OIA, The Conservation Alliance, and other advocacy groups to do so. More to come soon! 📷 : Randy Gaetano @gtans 📍Northeast Piscataquis, ME/Wabanaki, Abenaki, Penobscot Lands bluesign technologies ag

Adventure Anywhere. Adventure for Anyone. Adventure Forever.
关于我们
NEMO Equipment was founded in 2002 on the premise of bringing the highest level of design and engineering to the world of outdoor adventure sports. Every day, 40 of us (and our dogs) come together in a 200-year old refurbished textile mill in Dover, New Hampshire to make the most creative, thoughtfully-designed outdoor gear in the world. Sitting four stories above a river that takes you straight to the ocean by kayak, we design and build the kind of gear we love to use ourselves. NEMO tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, camp furniture, and camp life gear continue to win a stream of awards and accolades each year, and we continue to make our mark as one of the most innovative designers of outdoor gear. We take full responsibility for every creative detail of our brand and products. Our team does all product design, engineering, development, studio photography, graphic design, etc. in house. At NEMO, ideas for new products begin with having real experiences in adventure. A passion for adventure is an absolute prerequisite for being part of the team, and the design team at NEMO works by these key principles: - Never bring anything to market that isn't significantly better than what is already available. - Own and obsess over every detail. - Be proud of what you do. We believe adventure gives us purpose and perspective. It makes us humble and proud. We're committed to the fearless pursuit of uncharted paths, in everything from the equipment we build to the way we run our business. Bravely exploring new directions opens our minds, brings us closer to the people we depend on, sharpens our wits, and lifts our spirits. NEMO is a values-led company determined to use the power of business for social and environmental progress. We are committed to minimizing our impact, leading the industry toward a cleaner supply chain, and creating an ongoing conversation about what it means to truly love this planet and these wild spaces.

Great news- the EXPLORE Act is heading to the President’s desk for signature! NEMO Equipment has enthusiastically advocated for this package alongside Outdoor Industry Association, Outdoor Alliance, and Outdoor Recreation Roundtable. Congrats to the many many MANY folks who made this happen! “Highlights include the Biking on Long Distance Trails Act (BOLT) to identify and create more long-distance bike trails, the Protecting America's Rock Climbing Act (PARC) to safeguard Wilderness climbing, the Simplifying Outdoor Access for Recreation Act (SOAR) that will improve recreational permitting for outfitters and guides.”
BREAKING: The Senate has passed the EXPLORE Act, a historic win for outdoor recreation and public land access! This bipartisan legislation will ensure expanded opportunities for all Americans to enjoy the outdoors, while supporting the $1.2 trillion outdoor recreation economy. “We are thrilled to see Congress pass the EXPLORE Act which will ensure each American has the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in their own community, grow the recreation economy, and advance mental and physical health benefits for all,” said Kent Ebersole, president of Outdoor Industry Association. Thank you to our members and partners across the industry for using their outdoor voice to advocate for this legislation. Thanks to your advocacy, the whole industry celebrates today.

"We never bring anything to market that doesn't provide a meaningfully better adventure experience than what's already out there." — NEMO CEO & Founder Cam Brensinger. This design philosophy has been integral to NEMO's brand story since the very beginning. Thank you to Outdoor Industry Compass for the write-up with Cam and NEMO's Director of Sustainability and Government Affairs, Theresa McKenney. https://bit.ly/48ZPErZ

Thank you, Christian Rawles, for having NEMO on your podcast!
I started the KORE Outdoors podcast for 2 reasons: 1. For fellow entrepreneurs in the outdoor industry to gain insights & inspiration from others in the industry. 2. To have conversations with people that I respect and admire in the industry. The latest episode sits squarely in the Venn diagram overlap of these two things. Cam Brensinger has built NEMO Equipment to be a leading brand in the outdoors without making compromises in the products they make or how they operate as a company. Here are a couple of the topics that Cam talks to me about in this episode: * The bravery that comes from ignorance * The benefits of being privately owned (becoming a rare trait for top brands) * Why 'how we do things' is more important than 'how much' * The lateral & linear design process that NEMO Equipment follows * Patiently growing a brand with close to $0 ad spend Cam gives a masterclass in business leadership in this episode. I use NEMO products and love them. But after having this conversation with Cam my level of respect and admiration for the business that he's built is at new levels. I'm officially at fan-boy status now for NEMO. Episode link is below in the first comment. Have a listen & if you like it please text the link to a friend who you think would enjoy it. Sharing these episodes goes a long way for the work we're doing at KORE - Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise Initiative 🙌

The NEMO team was closely following the news in North Carolina and we're devastated by the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene. Our Marketing team has a special place in our hearts for the NC mountains and Asheville, especially, after visiting last fall and capturing lifestyle photography for the NEMO 2024 product line. We're proud to have helped just a bit with a donation of sleeping bags, pads, and portable showers to @highcountryunitedway to support those recovering and still without power. To offer your own support via donations, please follow the link: https://bit.ly/48p62BZ 📷 : Steven Reinhold @appalachian_adventure_company 📍@cataloocheeranch Cataloochee Ranch Maggie Valley, NC/Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East), S’atsoyaha (Yuchi), Miccosukee Lands Models: Lee Trebotich @natty_the_adventurer, Meghan Trebotich @the_adventurous_nutritionist, & Ziggy Trebotich @food_for_adventures @appalachian_adventure_company

The NEMO team had a wonderful time hosting University of New Hampshire students last week at our headquarters in Dover, NH. After a tour of the office (led by founder & CEO Cam Brensinger), students had the opportunity to learn what it's like working at NEMO from our Product, Operations, Sales, Logistics, and Marketing teams. "It was great to have an engaged group of UNH students visit NEMO," said Theresa McKenney, Director of Sustainability and Government Affairs (UNH '14, '15G). "NEMO leaders from every department spoke about their career path and work in the outdoor industry." "[NEMO] is truly a unique business, and I am grateful I got the opportunity to see how the company works from every side," said Emily York (UNH '25). We're excited to see what paths these students take!
