Today marks the 249th anniversary of the founding of the United States Marine Corps! Established on November 10, 1775, in Philadelphia’s Tun Tavern, the Marine Corps was born out of the desire to protect and defend our nation with courage and resilience. Since then, Marines have been known for their unwavering commitment, fighting in every major conflict and upholding the values of honor, courage, and commitment. We also extend a special thank you and praise to those Marines in our own organization. Eric, Belinda, Keith, Marty, Solomon, Rebecca, and Karson. You promote a courage, a selflessness, and a prestige that inspires us all. From the shores of Iwo Jima to the mountains of Afghanistan, Marines have answered the call to serve, earning respect worldwide.
