Today is Change Your Password Day! That means it’s time to change your password! 1) When creating your password, don't forget to include a combination of letters, numbers, and at least one special character (such as @, !, or *). Avoid using passwords that have personal information like your name and date of birth. 2) Use different passwords - Do not use the same password for all of your online accounts. You can lose all of your cyber activity as they can all be hacked. Use different passwords for each account. 3) Longer Passwords Are Harder To Crack "Don't wait until it's too late—update your password today!" #ChangeYourPasswordDay

NEK Broadband is committed to creating a local workforce. Today, Owen (NEK Broadband employee) completed his first fiber installation as part of the NEK Broadband technician training course. The 3 week course provides training in Fiber Optics Essentials as well as pole climbing and bucket truck operations. Pictured is Owen with customer Russ Grube of Irasburg. Congratulations Owen!

The pictured tents were recently purchased to fit over the OLTs (the cabinet where the central equipment for a fiber optic network is located) to create a comfortable environment for the crew during installation and can protect the modules from damage due to rain or snow!
