Remembering Mary McFadden, the renowned designer, collector, and world traveler, who passed away at 85 last week. Celebrated as a true renaissance woman, she was honored with the Neiman Marcus Award for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion in 1979 by Stanley Marcus. Her illustrious career also included serving as a Vogue editor and becoming the first female president of the CFDA. Her legacy will continue to inspire future generations in fashion with innovation, creativity, and a pioneering spirit.

In celebration of New York Fashion Week, Bergdorf Goodman partnered with celebrated street style photographer, Tommy Ton, to highlight the new guard of designers defining the look of the city in a campaign titled, “New York Style.” The imagery features NYC-based designers Christopher John Rogers, Henry Zankov of Zankov, Maxwell Osborne of AnOnlyChild, Peter Do, and Rachel Scott of Diotima, paired with a few familiar faces as muses—BG’s own Darcy Penick, Linda Fargo, Yumi Shin, and more. You’re invited to explore “New York Style” on Bergdorf Goodman’s website or at the iconic retailer’s 5th Avenue windows, which feature an installation and a QR code for passersby to shop the collection.

Our Neiman Marcus Group leadership teams had a busy New York Fashion Week. From market appointments to runway shows, they hit the pavement to meet with brand partners, review collections, and define the look of the season.?? ? In addition, our leaders were proud to attend Kering’s Caring for Women Gala, organized by the Kering Foundation. The Foundation and the Gala provide funds to organizations that support those impacted by gender-based violence, working to break cycles of violence by raising awareness, changing mindsets, and creating safe spaces. Leaders also attended the annual Couture Council Luncheon hosted by The Museum at FIT, honoring 2024 Neiman Marcus Award for Innovation-winner, Simon Porte Jacquemus.?? ? Our leadership teams consistently highlight our ongoing commitment to Revolutionizing Luxury Experiences and championing positive change for the fashion industry and beyond.?
