Framing has begun at ArriveKC in Midtown KCMO where we are constructing 371 luxury units along the recently extended KC Streetcar line. ? Today we're looking back to a little over a month ago where we successfully poured over 1,300 CY of concrete across two podium decks and one slab on grade; it was one of the biggest concrete pours in our company's history. We appreciate the outstanding teamwork between our partners at NSPJ Architects, Bob D. Campbell & Company, Accu-Crete & CFS Engineers to ensure structural stability as the project goes vertical. ? We’d like to send a special shoutout to our MEP subs, Mike Hagen Electric, Inc. & Miller Plumbing, because the layout of the plumbing and electrical work on these elevated decks has been very extensive, and they have done a great job overcoming many challenges. ? In this visit, we also caught the placement?of the final beams by Midland Steel Company that support the 14,000 SF integrated clubhouse on the building's SE corner, the rough-in plumbing prior to the slab on grade concrete pour, and lots of general site activity. ? As the first urban infill mixed-use development in downtown Lee’s Summit since 2001, Ellis Glen is really starting to come together! Constructed for Integrity Group Real Estate, the 34,324 sq. ft. project features apx. 9,000 sq. ft. of commercial space on the 1st floor, and 26 modern studio, 1 BD & 2 BD units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Collins Webb Architecture is the architectural designer, and the building's exterior will be constructed with a complementary mix of masonry, stone, large format cementitious panel, lap siding and pre-fabricated aluminum balconies. Interior unit finishes will include quartz countertops, stainless appliances, vinyl plank flooring, carpeted bedrooms, modern lighting and hardware. We are on track to deliver the project in mid-2025, which is replacing blight, expanding the footprint of downtown Lee's Summit and enhancing the walkability of the growing neighborhood. ArriveKC is the largest and most complex project we have going right now.? Located in KCMO near 31st & Main Streets, the project replaces the old Trinity Lutheran Hospital with 371 new luxury units and sophisticated amenities indoors and out. The 6-story, 537,831 sq. ft. structure will include a concrete podium with 5 stories of wood-framed construction atop. ? Seen in these images from December, structural concrete work with footings, columns and poured foundation walls is underway. While the blizzard earlier this month resulted in some delays, now, following the addition of our 2nd tower crane last week, elevated concrete work will continue making progress throughout the next few months. ?By spring the site will continue to go vertical with wood frame construction. ? Next week we have 2 big concrete pours scheduled, and images of the process will be our next update on the project, so stay tuned.?We appreciate our team and project partners! ?
