The Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic on North 30th Street in Wilmington opened its doors to welcome patients for the first time last week! Some of our team who helped lead the design on the 7,300 square foot clinic attended the ribbon cutting with anticipation. The first two completed clinics are in #Charlotte (Freedom Drive & North End) and this is the second location in #Wilmington. We are so grateful to provide design for Novant Health and Michael Jordan to make healthcare more accessible and welcoming.

The 2025 Jury of Fellows from The American Institute of Architects (AIA) elevated 82 AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession. ? Cathy Morrison’s ongoing leadership driving regulatory reform and promoting diversity in the architecture field reflect her unwavering commitment to shaping an inclusive and progressive future for the profession within National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Registration Boards NCARB and AIA.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As we reflect on his impact, we are reminded that the fight for justice, equality, and unity is ongoing. Let us continue to work together in pursuit of Dr. King's dream. DID YOU KNOW? In addition to his global influence, Dr. King's presence in Charlotte during the 1950s and 1960s inspired generations of local civil rights leaders. While many remember his ties to Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, part of his legacy extends to the Queen City. In fact, Dr. King was supposed to be in Charlotte the day he was assassinated in Memphis. Want to learn more? Neighbors accessing much needed resources at a state of the art community center on their bus route ??A child learning to read in their safe, vibrant school ??A nervous teen learning to swim in a modern, amenity-filled recreation center ??A single mom pushing her stroller to an accessible, inviting clinic ??A brand new employee’s first day at a new job that they couldn’t have accepted without the train station on their street for transportation ?? The neighbors whose beloved neighborhood has been disconnected from the rest of the city now seeing a plan unfold for more walkability, access and opportunities… ?
