Mobilizing entrepreneurial possibility in disenfranchised neighborhoods through a reimagined, liberative economy.

关于我们

We curate diverse, focused, and high-energy teams working on areas ready for breakthrough. We partner with cities and communities fueled by the urgency of the interlinked crises we face (such as climate change, social unrest, and racial disparities) and motivated by a common moral hunger. Who Do We Gather? ? New players with new varieties of patient catalytic tools who are willing to move fast and take risks providing the capital that’s needed for the folks who typically don’t get it; ? Innovators working to bridge the racial wealth gap at neighborhood and city scale; and ? Faith communities mobilizing to tackle economic injustice across race, class, and neighborhoods.

  • The storm may be over, and after 52 long days, the water was finally been restored. But for our community, the devastation remains all around us. Broken homes, shattered businesses, and the invisible scars of trauma are reminders that the path to recovery is far from over. It’s December. It’s cold and lives are at risk. Rebuilding Isn’t Enough! We need stronger solutions. Rebuilding is only the beginning. To truly protect our communities, we must go beyond repairing what’s been lost—we need to build stronger systems that can withstand the next storm. But how? We want to hear your ideas. Here are some we have been thinking about: 1?? Investing in Disaster-Resistant Infrastructure: From flood-proof buildings to resilient roadways, we can design safer, stronger communities. 2?? Support Small Businesses with Micro-Loans and Grants: Local businesses are the heartbeat of our towns. Providing financial support can help them not just reopen, but thrive. 3?? Prioritize Community Preparedness Training: Knowledge saves lives. Empowering neighbors with tools and training ensures we’re ready for the challenges ahead. Rebuilding isn’t just about bricks and mortar—it’s about hope, safety, and a future where no community has to endure this alone. ?? Let’s create the systems our communities deserve. #StrongerTogether #ResilienceForTomorrow #RebuildingHope #CommunityStrength

  • ?? Resilience is the Heartbeat of Our Communities In the midst of heartache and devastation, resilience blooms—like this small sprout growing from a scarred tree stump. It’s a reminder that even in the toughest times, life finds a way to begin again. ?? We know our communities are full of these stories—moments of courage, hope, and determination that inspire us all. From neighbors helping neighbors to businesses reopening their doors, resilience shines in the darkest times. We want to hear your stories: ? Have you witnessed an act of bravery or kindness? ? Have you seen a family, a business, or a community rebuilding despite the odds? ? What moments of resilience have left you in awe? Your stories fuel hope and inspire others to take action. ?? Share them with us in the comments or send us a message. Together, we’ll show that even in the hardest of times, new life can grow. Let’s plant the seeds of hope for a stronger, united future. ?? #RebuildingHope #ResilienceInAction #CommunityStrength #StrongerTogether

  • Did you know? ?? Nearly 40% of small businesses never reopen after a natural disaster. That’s not just a statistic—it’s a community’s heartbeat at risk. When local businesses close, families, jobs, and hope are all impacted. Let’s come together to rebuild and ensure Asheville’s resilience after Hurricane Helene. ?? Let’s think BEYOND Asheville too and think of all our sister cities, towns and communities that have been or may be impacted by natural disasters. Share how disasters have affected your community and how we all can take action to CHANGE this devastating statistic. ?? #RebuildingHope #SupportLocalEconomies
