Neighborhood Family Practice was founded in 1980 in response to a concern that residents of Cleveland’s near west side lacked access to primary health care. A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NFP focuses on providing high quality primary care in a medical home setting. As a health care provider, our seven convenient locations offer same day appointments. The NFP service area spans twelve neighborhoods across Cleveland and Lakewood and is comprised of a very diverse mix of residents. NFP accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most commercial insurance plans and offers a financial assistance program (sliding fee scale) for the uninsured. Neighborhood Family Practice is a grantee of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and each of its locations are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

Today is World Prematurity Day—a vital reminder to raise awareness and support for the millions of babies born prematurely each year. Prematurity continues to be a leading cause of infant mortality, but at NFP, we're dedicated to changing that by improving outcomes for premature infants through education, advocacy, and vital support for families facing this challenge.
