NeighborGood Partners—a Delaware organization based in Dover—was incorporated in 1955, began providing housing development services in 1976, added homeownership counseling in 1989, launched financial literacy training in 2005, and added default and foreclosure prevention counseling at the end of 2007. During this time, NeighborGood Partners has become a leader in housing development of affordable apartments and homeownership services in Delaware, creating affordable housing alternatives and helping families with housing needs to access homeownership statewide.

??? Celebrating 20 Years of Impact! ??? On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, NeighborGood Partners, proudly celebrated two decades of service with our Loan Fund, which was established in October 2004. Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing vital funding for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, empowering projects focused on affordable housing, community facilities, and commercial buildings in designated investment areas. We are thrilled to announce that, as of 2024, our Loan Fund has successfully provided $180 million in funding, earning recognition both locally and nationally! Our celebration at Total Wine in Claymont, Delaware, was a heartfelt thank you to our investors and funders who have supported us throughout this incredible journey. Attendees enjoyed a delightful wine tasting featuring the beautiful flavors of Italy, all while celebrating the positive changes we've made together.
