Edem Hado, MPH, Rodney Harrell, PhD, Dorothy Siemon, and Debra Whitman do an excellent job laying out the plan's foundations and goals. From promoting healthy living and supporting family caregivers to creating age-friendly communities and reframing aging as a strength, the proposed plan addresses the core challenges facing our aging population. Why Is the Loneliness Epidemic So Hard to Cure? Thank you, Matthew Shaer for your valuable insight! As he points out in his New York Times article, turning back the clock in social thinking isn't the key to addressing the issues that slumber beneath the idea of "loneliness" in today's post-pandemic world. ??
