Folks whose funding has been impacted by the US Government’s Foreign Aid Freeze: There are several emergency funds that have been stood up to support you. 1. The Foreign Aid Emergency Bridge Fund, open to any and all orgs that have received a stop work order, and that are considered frontline. This is an OPEN fund (and one I’m pleased to be advising along with a group of other incredible volunteers from the philanthropic and development community). Funding is continuously coming in and the first grants were dispersed yesterday. 2. NEAR (Network for Empowered Aid Response)’s fund for proximate organizations in their membership. 3. Founders Pledge and the The Life You Can Save have stood up a fund for orgs in the Founders Pledge list of recommended organizations. 4. GlobalGiving has a fund as well. All links in comments.
