Negocios Now's publisher, Clemente Nicado, was honored to be invited last Thursday to Vice President Kamala Harris's residence in Washington, DC, alongside an incredible group of Latino leaders from across the country. We appreciate this opportunity and the inclusion of our publisher in this initiative. Reuniting with friends and engaging with the Democratic candidate for the November elections made this an unforgettable occasion.

I am honored to be recognized in Negocios Now's "Who's Who in 2024" list. I appreciate the acknowledgement of my work of uplifting others, especially from low income and often overlooked communities through organizations such as Discovery Partners Institute, High Impact Tutors (HIT), LatinX Digital Leaders Now and the Associated Colleges of Illinois. Friday night was a fantastic evening of networking and celebrating at the Latino Leaders Gala. Special thanks to Clemente Nicado for his incredible work with this publication and for shining a light on leaders within the Latino community. ??Honored to be Recognized as one of the #40Under40 Latinos in Silicon Valley! I am incredibly proud to share that I have been recognized as one of the Latinos #40Under40 in Silicon Valley by Negocios Now with support from Angeles Investors. This means a lot to me, especially considering the talented and inspiring individuals who share this recognition. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion I have poured into my career and my community. It also reflects the incredible support and encouragement I have received from my mentors, colleagues, friends, and family. Not that long ago, I received some feedback as a final candidate for a C Suite role that really stuck with me. They shared that while leading with humility is my super strength, in a setting where folks may not have as much purview into all of my work and who I am, I could try to find a balance of highlighting my achievements. While collective empowerment is something I truly believe in, and all of the impact I have created over the years was never achieved alone, here I am sharing this honor I received with you all. You'll probably be seeing a lot more of me around here ?? **Also, I think there's more to unpack about humility and leadership in relation to my culture as a Latina and as a woman--I may write more about that at another moment but for now I'll leave it there. Last night I was honored to be part of the inaugural Negocios Now 40 under 40 Bay Area Latinos class with an amazing group of peers changing the world. My grandfather Paul Gomez was a serial entrepreneur and I feel so fortunate that I continue to support other entrepreneurs dreams.
