Today marks National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day that Canada has earmarked as a day to recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Metis across Canada. We hope that everyone takes the opportunity today to learn and reflect in their own way in the spirit of the day. Recognizing the vibrant cultural fabric that adorns Turtle Island, and is woven into the history of all Canadians, we also hope that this is not a singular event in the learning we all do.
