The Northeast Region is hosting a special recognition event this April to celebrate the incredible achievements of the people we support. We are excited to have nominated three people for their accomplishments! https://lnkd.in/etXEcZjS Jorge L.: Jorge has been very determined to start on his road to independence. Jorge advocated for his desire to obtain employment in the community and learn how to drive. His proactive approach and self-advocacy is truly inspiring. He has been working with various organizations like MRC, MassAbility, and Deaf Inc. He has attended classes, met with counselors and taken assessments. Jorge is not only focused on his immediate objectives but also taking the necessary steps to build a stronger foundation for his future. His motivation and excitement are such key elements in this journey, and it’s clear he has a lot of support along the way. Devin S: Devin has really made a positive impact with his volunteer work over the past year! Helping to pack over 100 food bags for Neighbors in Need is such a powerful demonstration of his compassion. It's inspiring to see someone turn empathy into tangible actions that make a difference in their community. Everyone is so incredibly proud of the work he's doing! We look forward to seeing how he will continue to make a difference in his community! Kate M.: Kate has had an amazing year filled with exciting and significant performances! She sang at a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game, the Flutie 5K, and the Stars on the Spectrum Music Festival! Her bravery and talent are clearly inspiring. It's wonderful to hear that she received so much support from her family, friends, and community. Performing before large audiences at such notable events is a huge accomplishment for her! #NEEDS #NEEDSCenter #NonProfit #Autism #DevelopmentalDisabilities #DisabilityServices #Massachusetts #Community #makeadifference
