At TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 with the Need Inc crew! Excited to meet other teams who are building in the AI and healthtech spaces, as well as incredible talent from around the world ???? Particularly interested to see the Korean teams pitching later this afternoon!
We hosted our first gathering at the new SF office with some students who participated in Cal Hacks over the weekend. It was invigorating to hear about the projects built during the hackathon, bounce ideas about how we can further innovate, and share the AI tools we've found most useful. I spent the weekend in San Francisco with Jonathan Ouyang, Johnny Zheng, Justin Osbey competing in Cal Hacks 11.0 and walked away with no prizes at all. However, it was still a fun experience building our project - an AI-powered education tool that can generate animated videos based on user input. Utilizing Gemini, Manim Library, FastAPI, Next.js and Chakra UI, our web application can provide an interactive and visual learning experience for users. Check out our demo video below! We also met up with the lovely folks at Need Inc after the hackathon for dinner, who we would like to thank for hosting. This was made possible because of Jingyu Liu, who we met at the hackathon.
