Waterstof als de toekomst voor duurzame energie in de glastuinbouw Tijdens HortiContact 2025 spraken Jer?me Vinke, Jogchum Bruinsma en Nils Jordan met een aantal ge?nteresseerden over de rol van waterstof in de energietransitie binnen de glastuinbouw. Een recent artikel van Groentennieuws.nl onderstreept de potentie van waterstofopslag als decentrale en emissievrije energievoorziening, iets wat ook op de beurs veel aandacht kreeg. Met PEM-brandstofcellen kan overtollige energie worden omgezet in waterstof en later weer gebruikt worden als betrouwbare en duurzame energiebron. Dit maakt het een veelbelovende oplossing voor telers die minder afhankelijk willen zijn van netcongestie en fossiele brandstoffen.
