Today, on March 8, we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD). We salute women for their tremendous achievements in all facets of life and society, especially in the area of law! The theme of IWD 2025 is "Accelerate Action." It calls for Accelerating Action?for gender equality. We support full equality for women, including equal pay. In every action you take, think of making sure you promote equal treatment of women. Women have made great strides in the area of law in the United States. According to the American Bar Association, "When the history of the legal profession is written, 2016 to 2026 may become known as the Decade of the Female Lawyer — a time when the profession started to noticeably shift from a male majority to a female majority.
