Help us welcome our new rotation student, Catherine Christopherson! Catherine Christopherson, A UNMC PharmD Candidate 2025, from Omaha, NE and attended Central College for my undergraduate degree. She is a fourth-year pharmacy student currently working Inpatient at Nebraska Medicine as a pharmacist intern. Her current interests include emergency medicine and toxicology. During this rotation with the NPA, she hopes to better understand how compliance with regulatory guidelines contribute to patient safety and understand the legal standards that ensure safe and effective medication dispensing. After graduation, she will aim to complete a pharmacy residency. Outside of school she enjoys reading, sand volleyball, and soccer.

Please help us welcome our two new rotation students, Sonoor Majid and Emerson Roberts! Sonoor is a UNMC pharmacy student and Kurdish-American refugee from Iraq. Her passion for pharmacy stems from seeing the impact of diabetes and cancer on her loved ones. During her rotation, she hopes to learn about legislative processes and advocate for accessible care, especially in rural areas. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Emerson, UNMC PharmD Candidate 2025, is a Lincoln native with interests in organ transplant, internal medicine, and pain management. During this rotation, she aims to expand her advocacy knowledge and learn more about pharmacy laws. In her free time, Emerson loves working out, knitting, and spending time with loved ones.
