A group of men at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) spoke about their experience being a part of the Prison Fellowship Academy (PFA), an intensive 12-month faith-based program.? ? The Prison Fellowship Academy is on a mission to break the cycle of incarceration by providing a yearlong program that combines targeted curriculum, compassionate coaching, and a supportive community. On Wednesday, NDCS hosted the inaugural Reentry Summit at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha. Pathways to Purpose: Meaningful Work Trajectories brought together more than 160 individuals, such as national reentry experts, state agency leaders, local nonprofit organizations, and employers to tackle barriers regarding second chance hiring and continue to advance Nebraska’s Reentry 2030 goals for economic mobility. #TRANSFORMNebraska #CommunityPartners
