This project is 8 years completed and still looks ?? Perched atop Mount Soledad in La Jolla, CA, this modern home features clean lines, neutral tones, and natural finishes. Thoughtfully designed lighting accents highlight expansive glass walls, connecting the interior and exterior spaces. The Owner, Architect, and Design Team worked together from start to finish, creating lighting mock-ups to conceal LED sources and achieve precise finishes. Collaborating with the Landscape Architect, trees were positioned to create dramatic illuminated views from inside. Warm, dimmable lighting throughout adds a casual, inviting feel to the minimalist design. The lighting enhances the sense of openness, capturing the essence of the Southern California lifestyle.
