  • Well, the 39th Annual National Logistics Forum has come and gone. For those of you who were able to attend, thank you...and we hope you found it a well-run, informative and enjoyable gathering worthy of your time. We know a number of you have asked about the release of speaker slides and photos, and the HQ NDIA Team is working to get these out as soon as possible. We do not have dates or a location picked out for next year but, rest assured, we'll make sure to push that info out as soon as available. We will also work hard to make sure next year is, somehow, even better than this year...so please keep us in mind for early 2026. And one last thing, I'm happy to say that we've just gone over the 5,000 "followers" mark for our LinkedIn site. Although it's neat to achieve this milestone, there's a lot more satisfaction in knowing that we're bringing together a significant group of professionals together who want to talk about, and focus on, making our DoD and "Whole of Government" Logistics community even more capable and resilient than we are right now. Thank you so much for your support...and "keep charging."

  • Supply chain risk management (SCRM) is a critical focus area within DoD. With global uncertainties such as geopolitical tensions, resource scarcity and nefarious actors, the challenges of ensuring resilient supply chains are greater than ever. In response, the United States Department of Defense and all federal agencies are implementing various initiatives to strengthen hashtag #SCRM. These include closer collaboration with industry partners, investing in advanced technologies such as #artificialintelligence and #blockchain for real-time visibility, and fostering a culture of resilience to name just a few. Come learn all about SCRM and many more important and timely topics at the 39th Annual NDIA National Logistics Forum will take place, 11-13 Feb '25, in #Orlando. Our theme this year is "Innovating Defense Logistics: From the Industrial Base to the Front Lines." In addition to the SCRM panel highlighted below, we've got many more interesting sessions and a truly unparalleled speaker lineup. Check out the full speaker lineup at https://lnkd.in/eZejntBR Time is now very short to register and make travel plans. • LOGGIES!! Have you heard about the Regional Sustainment Framework (RSF) initiative? The purpose of the RSF initiative, which is led by OSD-Sustainment, is to develop and stand up maintenance, repair?and overhaul (MRO) capabilities "in theater" in order to increase weapon system readiness levels by avoiding the time and cost to transport assets back to the U.S. for repair. It's a complex effort, and critical to the capabilities needed for the GPC scenario. Come learn all about the RSF and many more important and timely topics at the 39th Annual NDIA National Logistics Forum will take place, 11-13 Feb '25, in hashtag #Orlando.
