We love our amazing NCWTA Triangle Chapter members and their amazing stories. Thank you, Olli Kivel?! We are so grateful to have you and your BrandID colleagues here in the heart of North Carolina!
Expanding a business to a new market is never just about strategy - it’s about people, partnerships, and persistence (and Finnish sisu). ? This morning, I had the privilege of sharing the journey of Brand ID & Smartdeck USA Inc at the NCWTA Triangle Chapter's event. I talked about what led us to expand into the U.S., the challenges we’ve faced, and the key lessons we’ve learned along the way. ? Our decision to enter the U.S. market was driven by the immense potential for growth, proximity to key industries, and the opportunity to bring our innovative solutions closer to customers. But as any international expansion goes, it hasn’t been without its challenges - navigating a new business landscape, building the right team, and adapting to a different market dynamic. ? What has made all the difference? The people. From industry peers and local organizations to trusted partners and our dedicated team, we’ve been fortunate to have incredible support. A huge thank you to NCWTA, especially Goran Vukicevic, CPA and Lisa Bamford, M.Sc. for having us share our story and to everyone we’ve met along this journey - you’ve helped shape our path. ? It was also fantastic to connect with so many professionals today and exchange experiences. If you’re in the process of expanding internationally or considering nearshoring/reshoring strategies, I’d love to hear your thoughts - what has been your biggest learning so far?
