Suncatcher Farm, a small, sustainable Wilkes County farm prioritizing soil health and animal welfare, is partnering with #NCWorks to offer a unique #internship opportunity. This Work Experience will provide hands-on training in sustainable and regenerative farming practices, including rotational grazing, silvopasture, nutrient cycling, crop rotation, and cover cropping. The intern, Ari (pictured, center), will work alongside Jesse and Vanessa, the co-owners of Suncatcher Farm, to gain the skills necessary to pursue her long-term goal of owning and operating her own sustainable farm. This collaboration aims to foster the growth of the next generation of farmers and contribute to the development of a more resilient food system and agricultural workforce.
