Revolutionizing the face of tech by increasing the influence and meaningful participation of women from every community
关于我们
Revolutionizing the face of technology by increasing women's meaningful participation. What We Do NCWIT is the National Center for Women & Information Technology, a 501(c)(3)* coalition that works to increase diversity in IT and computing. NCWIT believes that greater diversity will create a larger and more competitive workforce, and promote the design of technology that is as broad and innovative as the population it serves. NCWIT focuses on improving diversity across the entire spectrum: K-12 through college education, and on to academic, corporate and entrepreneurial careers.

In honor of International Day of the Girl, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden honored 10 inspiring girls leading change in their communities! ?? “These incredible honorees are meeting the challenges they see in the world by developing innovative new technologies, expanding access to education, erasing silence through the power of art and poetry, and more.” Congratulations to these #AiCcommunity members for being honored by First Lady Jill Biden: ?????? Sreenidi Bala (CT) At 16, Sreenidi founded Code For All Minds — a free online platform with adaptive curriculum that teaches special needs students how to code — after recognizing a gap in STEM education for neurodivergent students in her school district. Today, Code for All Minds has distributed these curriculums to schools across the country. ?????? Pragathi Kasani-Akula (GA) After Pragathi's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, she created a low-cost prototype at 17 to detect triple negative breast cancer early. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, she also worked with the ScioVirtual Foundation to teach an online epidemiology course to students nationwide.
