Anyone of any age can fall victim to financial scams, and many locals do, the Naperville Police Department says. Naperville residents reported losing nearly $5.5 million to scams in 2024, and the cons that tricked residents then are still going on now. Hoping to arm people with knowledge to steer clear of scammers, the NPD recently hosted a Scam Awareness Webinar. #Naperville resident Joshua Tsui grew up obsessed with video games but never thought he’d make them so he went to college and studied film and video. Tsui started his career as a video artist at Midway Games in the ‘90s working on some of the biggest arcade and console games of the era. He was also featured in some of the games—portraying Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, and a character in NBA Jam Tournament Edition. After co-founding Studio Gigante and leading projects at Electronic Arts (EA) and Robomodo, Tsui took a step back from gaming. His love for film led him to create Insert Coin, a documentary with behind-the-scenes stories from the golden age of arcade gaming.
