Meet John Bellitti, RPh, owner of HB Pharmacy, Inc. in North Arlington, N.J., where patient care goes beyond prescriptions. Pharmacy wasn’t John’s original plan, but after considering law, he found his true calling in pharmacy and followed in his father’s footsteps. "I actually got a lot more of a sense of purpose by helping people that were sick, caring for people, and that kind of stuff really resonated with me,” he says. So, after starting his career at a big chain, he left to help at his father’s pharmacy and never looked back, taking it over in 1990. Now, with his son and team by his side, John continues to serve his community — volunteering at health screenings, assisting with Medicare Part D, and building relationships with local providers.
