NCODA believes that the coordination of care facilitated through a medically integrated approach enhances quality by engaging all stakeholders on the care team, reduces the opportunity for waste and errors, and avoids needless costs to patients. NCODA offers education and resources to oncology professionals and industry partners through the development of quality standards, best practices, and advocacy. Founded in 2015, NCODA has helped over 3,000 medically integrated oncology sites of care and over 12,000 professionals across the world, in delivering better, personalized oncology care. Our team is a group of committed, patient-centered community builders who connect medical providers with the vital information and resources they need to transform the outcomes of those fighting cancer.

    Proud to share the incredible work our NCODA Student Chapter at Creighton University — Phoenix Health Sciences Campus has accomplished this semester! I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication and compassion our students bring to oncology care beyond the classroom. They recently partnered with the NMDP (formerly known as Be The Match) to help grow the national registry—bringing hope to patients in need of life-saving marrow and stem cell transplants. Thanks to their efforts, more potential donors are now in the system, ready to make a difference. They also collaborated with a local oncology clinic in Arizona for Project TEMP CHECK: Neutropenic Fever Detection—a student-led initiative where they assembled care kits with thermometers and other essentials for immunocompromised oncology patients. These experiences continue to highlight the power of advocacy, education, and service in pharmacy. I'm beyond proud of our agents of change! #Pharmacy #Oncology #CreightonUniversity

    Massive week for NCODA! Last Tuesday, in collaboration with DU Comedy Soc and Trinity Cancer Society, we organised a Stand Up Comedy show with the proceedings going to The OddBalls Foundation and Irish Cancer Society. This evening was filled with laughs and €450 was raised through kind donations from attendees. On Thursday, Brian Bergin, Student Representative of the Oddballs Foundation, delivered an informative talk regarding testicular cancer awareness to interested students, as well as providing us with information leaflets to distribute. This is more important than ever as we enter testicular cancer awareness month this April. Thank you to the NCODA team, especially Shaun Tynan-Manuel, who spearheaded the comedy show whilst on placement in Galway. Without everyone’s tireless work, this would not have been possible. Finally, thank you to everyone who donated!
