State of Emergency Declared in North Carolina Governor Josh Stein has issued Executive Order No. 9, declaring a State of Emergency due to the winter storm expected to impact North Carolina today, February 19, 2025. This order also includes a temporary suspension of motor vehicle regulations to support emergency response efforts and the transport of essential supplies.
