North County Human Resources San Diego - Elevating HR Leaders
关于我们
NCHRSD is North County San Diego's largest human resources association addressing the most complicated needs of the human resources professional in todays modern world. NCHR-SD (formally known as North County Personnel Association - NCPA) was founded in 1979 by a group of Human Resource professionals. Their goal was to analyze Human Resource systems, to determine their strengths and weaknesses, and based on this, develop a more objective and effective Human Resource program. This group realized the importance of education in keeping abreast of new issues being faced by Human Resource departments. The networking that has resulted from the monthly meetings has proved to be beneficial to businesses, particularly in the North County/San Diego area. NCHR-SD is fulfilling the goals established by the original founders and continues to meet our goals of our rapidly growing profession. Through quality focused learning, educational workshops, and legal updates, we provide our members with actionable solutions that help drive success in their own organizations. Our diverse membership base provides support to fellow HR professionals regarding today's workplace challenges. Through various networking events and our Leadership Council discussions, our members share decades of industry experience and functional expertise with their colleagues. NCHR-SD goes beyond the norm to remain on the cutting edge of the field, create programs that drive results, and help its members grow their businesses. NCHR-SD of San Diego, a non-profit organization whose officers serve on a volunteer basis, has over 500 individuals and corporate members serving the North County business community.

Last week marked a deeply bittersweet milestone as I attended my final meeting as Co-President of NCHR-SD. Serving on this board has been an extraordinary journey over the past few years, filled with unforgettable experiences and personal growth. I joined during the uncertainty of the COVID era and was honored beyond words when the late Nancy Nguyen invited me to step into this role alongside her. That invitation became a gift in ways I couldn’t have anticipated, allowing me cherished time with her that I hold close to my heart. Losing Nancy was a profound loss, not only for me but for the entire board and organization. Yet, in true testament to her legacy, we united to carry her spirit forward, infusing NCHR-SD with her boundless energy and unwavering commitment. Watching NCHR-SD evolve and flourish has been an immensely rewarding experience, and I am grateful to each of my fellow board members who I am honored to now call friends. In particular, I’d like to recognize my incredible Co-President, Julius Soriano. We’ve proven to be a great team, and I am continually inspired by your vision and leadership. Although I’m not stepping away from the board just yet, I want to extend my deepest thanks to our dedicated team who make NCHR-SD and the HR community so special: - Patricia Due?as Padilla Stephanie Gatlin Molly Wood, SPHR, MAOL Heather Odom Jennifer Alvarez PHR, SHRM-CP Erin Braly, SHRM-SCP Jamie Jacobs Geoffrey Sheffield Chris Olmsted Carmen Contreras Tracey Corea, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
