Last month, APNC launched the NC Treatment Connection, a campaign dedicated to helping North Carolinians find ethical, evidence-based substance use disorder treatment close to home. This campaign connects individuals and families with trusted partners like the Alcohol/Drug Council of North Carolina and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, ensuring that those seeking help can find reputable substance use disorder treatment. NC Treatment Connection is about making sure that anyone in need can find The Right Help, Right Here. ?? Visit https://lnkd.in/gp3ZbXsJ to learn more and find verified treatment resources. Together, we can ensure that ethical, high-quality treatment remains accessible for all North Carolinians.

In times of uncertainty, we often turn to our communities to help us find our way forward. This week was an excellent example of how, despite the uncertainties we are currently facing, we can come together to learn, grow, and even thrive! I had a blast at my first ever #NASPAStrategies25 where I got to present about the opportunities campus partners have to lean on their communities and create comprehensive solutions to complex issues like substance use. Speaking nationally was a privilege I do not take lightly. Just over a year ago, I was a graduate student who had applied to over 100+ positions and was struggling to picture what my future might look like. Now, thanks mostly to an incredible team, I am a national speaker in my field. Celebrating myself today and ready to hit the ground running when I return to office!
