In recognition of Peace Corps Week at North Carolina Central University the North Carolina Central University Office of International Affairs presented on the history of volunteers to serve in the Peace Corps. Reginald Hodges was the first to join after he graduated from the North Carolina College (NCCU) in 1968. He served as a volunteer in Sierra Leone and went on to have a career working in Africa. His selfless service went on to inspire future volunteers from NCCU. Jade Peterson, Joshua Adams, Jay Pearson, Donald LaHuffman, BSPHE, MA, RPCV, Brian Harris, Ashland Thompson and James T. Ham. We are honored to follow in the footsteps of an alum who represents "Truth and Service!" Happy Peace Corps Week from all of us at North Carolina Central University!
