What a wonderful way to spend my Saturday morning at the 25th Annual Sister for Sister Leadership Conference! I was both honored, and humbled to be in a space with such amazing, empowering and accomplished women. Who else could pull off such an event other than the Nashville Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Metro Nashville Chapter? These awesome ladies are lead by Ms. Janet Rachel, who I am delighted and proud to say has "adopted me."??????. I can't say enough about the ladies of the organization, the speakers and the whole event itself.

This weekend was truly magical! I am deeply honored to have been awarded by #ncbwnashville in the category of Economic Development. Being a resource for others is a core part of my calling, and this recognition means so much to me. Thank you for the support, the recognition, and most importantly, the sisterhood. I Refilled My ?? With The Beautiful Ladies of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Incorporated, Metropolitan Nashville Chapter This Weekend at Their 25th Annual Sister for Sister Conference! Each speaker poured into the over 200 ladies in attendance, leaving us motivated, inspired, and more informed about how we can use our gifts in service to the world with excellence and confidence. Great networking topped off this amazing day of energy renewal!??? Congratulations on conference number 25, ladies! You’re doing great work.?

I am so blessed, honored and grateful to be nominated for the Susan Short Jones Emerging Leader Award alongside some phenomenal women. I was so glad to be able to network with these women and others at the Sister for Sister Conference hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Incorporated, Metropolitan Nashville Chapter. Thanks to my family, friends and my boyfriend for the support in my life always!!

This past week, I took a moment to celebrate Juneteenth and give thanks to those who paved the way for me. I'm truly grateful for the opportunities I have today because of their sacrifices. While I grew up celebrating the 8th of August in my hometown, I had a powerful experience visiting Fort Negley Park and connecting at the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Sister for Sister event.
