The @NCATS Alliance hosted our first ever reception last night in Bethesda, MD with @NCATS @Director, Dr. Joni Rutter and her amazing senior team. It was a wonderful gathering to celebrate the incredible science being advanced by NCATS as we work to build awareness and support for translational science, gene therapies, drug repurposing, and big data initiatives, to name a few. It was great to see Ron Bartek, Annie Kennedy, Paul Melmeyer, June Cha, PhD, MPH, Tasnuva Khan and many others who joined us for the first of many Alliance receptions with our NCATS colleagues. #ncats #genetherapies #raredisease #clinicaltrials #translationalscience #n3c
关于我们
The NCATS Alliance seeks to support the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), a center within the National Institutes of Health, transform and accelerate translational sciences research and development so as to provide more treatments for rare and common diseases to more patients more quickly. The NCATS Alliance aims to do this by: 1. Securing sustained appropriations and policies necessary to further enable NCATS to lead the transformation and acceleration of translational science research and development; and 2. Educating policymakers, medical professionals, the medical industry, patients, and other stakeholders about the nature and vital role of NCATS in translational sciences research and development in improving our health and well-being.
