The mission of NCADEMI is to improve the quality, availability, and timely provision of accessible digital educational materials and instruction for learners with disabilities, from early intervention through high school graduation. We are funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education. We will support state and local educational agencies, Part C lead agencies, OSEP-funded parent information centers, and pre- and in-service educator and administrator programs.

In October 2024, a new $7.2 million center focused on providing accessible materials to students with disabilities will open at Utah State University.? The new National Center on Accessible Digital Educational Materials and Instruction (NCADEMI) will be housed at the USU Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice (IDRPP). It combines the expertise of two prominent, national programs at the IDRPP: WebAIM and the Center for Technical Assistance and Excellence in Special Education (TAESE). https://lnkd.in/gJquq3ay
