Congratulations to our award winning graduate students! At last week's CNR Graduate Research Symposium, PRT Master's student Chloe Phillips won first place and received $750 in the Human and Environment Interactions category of the poster competition. PRT PhD student Nicole Odell won second place and received $500 in the Management and Policies category. In addition, PRT students @Maeghan Luttrell, Ann Morgan Hawthorne, Peizhe Li, Krista L. White, and Kayla Gilligan all presented posters at the symposium. Congratulations and a big round of applause for all of our winners and participants!??????????

And are you also looking for financial support? **Announcing the PRTM Undergraduate Research Collective (URC) Research Support Awards!** The PRTM Undergraduate Research Collective (URC) is committed to empowering undergraduate students to engage in faculty-mentored research in Parks, Recreation, Tourism, Sport, and Leisure, broadly defined. To enrich academic and co-curricular experiences, URC offers financial assistance for research-related travel and equipment purchases. Each award, distributed early in the term, provides up to $500 per faculty-student research project per semester. Funds will be awarded to the faculty-mentor, who will oversee the allocation of resources based on project needs. The deadline for Spring 2025 applications is March 31, 2025.
