NC State AMA Leadership at AMA UW-Whitewater's Regional Conference! ?? We’re excited to share that Arjun Pradhan, VP of Community Relations, and Mihir Patel, VP of Event Operations, attended the UWW Regional Conference- an event that brought together over 450 students from across the U.S. and internationally, including attendees from the Netherlands and Germany! ?? This incredible experience allowed our executives to network with partner companies, learn from industry-leading guest speakers, and compete alongside talented peers. A special shoutout to Arjun, who placed 4th in the Perfect Pitch competition! Reflecting on the experience, he shared: "The guest speakers were truly impactful- leaders from major companies and sports organizations who shared valuable insights into business and leadership through the 'Game Day' theme. Their perspectives were both inspiring and thought-provoking." We’re excited to bring the lessons and inspiration gained from this event back to NC State AMA as we continue to elevate our programs and empower our members to achieve more. On November 5th, we had the privilege of hosting an impactful Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Panel organized by Malak H., whose dedication brought together an incredible lineup of diverse leaders and engaged attendees. The event took place in Nelson Hall, where we gathered to learn from professionals using their unique identities and experiences to shape success and inclusivity. Our esteemed panelists - Nandini Kanthi (CEO & Co-founder of Sensible Pad), Najauna White, CMP, CDE? (VP of Diversity & Inclusion at Miles Partnership), Deshauna Richardo (Store Support Manager at Sherwin-Williams), and Zariah Ocean, MBA (University Relations Recruiter at Volvo Group) - inspired us all with stories of resilience, innovation, and the role DEI plays in their careers. Their insights underscored the power of embracing diversity to foster growth, both personally and professionally. This week’s NC State AMA member meeting was a dynamic blend of creativity, hands-on learning, and professional growth! ?? ?? We kicked things off with a creative collaboration with the Discomfort Club, encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and unlock fresh ideas. ?? Next, Andrew Kocha from Reunion Marketing led an engaging, interactive session on SEO strategies. We dove into live website analysis, exploring analytics and discovering how data drives digital marketing success! ?? Finally, after our member meeting, CMS Consulting hosted an alumni panel, where former members Zedrique Ahmed, Elle Giesler, Kalli Licata, and Grace Ulanch shared real-world advice and career-building tips.
