NC Fusion kicked off the 2024-25 year with a productive All Staff Meeting at the Crossing Church in Kernersville (Thanks Chris Booth). Scott Wollaston, CEO, continued to reinforce the club’s mission, vision and values. Kiley Cirillo, Head of Soccer Operations, provided an excellent presentation on “Perspective as a Club Parent”. Mark Simpson, Head of Coaching Education, presented on “Motivation for being a better coach”. The Operations and Administrative Teams spent time in breakout sessions, while all soccer programs met individually to talk about the upcoming season. The evening was highlighted by a great meal from Don Juan’s Restaurant in Kernersville! Invest in Your Development is one of our Core Values so we truly appreciate all of our staff that spent a Sunday afternoon/evening working hard to improve to help our players this season.

After serving at the Peacehaven Community Farm on Friday, the Fusion staff battled it out in a staff Dodgeball tournament at the Greensboro Sportsplex. Soccer skills were not of much use, so the playing field was leveled. Everyone had a great time with Team Globo Gym coming out on top!

The Fusion Full Time staff had an amazing time volunteering at the Peacehaven Community Farm in Whitsett on Friday! Peacehaven has an incredible mission and vision and we were happy to be a part of helping them by offering up about 40 staff members to do some hard work in the hot sun! It was a great team building event and we were pleased to serve in our community as a team! D. Phelps Sprinkle, CAP?
