Harrison will join our team as a Program Coordinator on July 15! She will lead capacity-building work alongside our friends with Cone Health in partnership with the Rockingham County Health Collaborative. As a native of Reidsville and a proud graduate of Reidsville High, Katrina brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in community development and service. Many folks in Rockingham County are aware that Katrina leads the work and is a founding member of The Last Dons, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to serving community members seeking resources to support educational goals. Her work with The Last Dons also supports the formerly incarcerated and justice-involved by reducing recidivism and strengthening our communities. She is passionate about empowering youth to discover successful career paths through education and employment. Katrina’s commitment to serving the residents of Rockingham County with love, respect, responsibility, and integrity aligns perfectly with our values. What does this work look like? At a high level, Katrina will consult NC 100 and our partners, playing a crucial role in organizing and coordinating various aspects of Design Thinking practices, working closely with stakeholders, including outside facilitators, community partners, and Design Team participants across all of Rockingham County, to ensure the success and effectiveness of the program.
