Great turnout this morning for our Winter Maintenance Operator Certificate Workshop! Thank you to our presenters and all who contributed to make this event such an informative and successful program.

This weekend, we were thrilled to celebrate at our Annual Meeting and Gala with so many of our industry friends and loved ones. Please join us in congratulating the recipient of our Camelo Award for Vendor of the Year, Stephen Russell, as well as the J. Francis Granger Highway Official of the Year Award winner, John Sanchez! We also formally welcomed our newest Board members: Shawna Sullivan, Greg Swan, Brendan Ryan, and Kevin McCabe. A big thank you to the event Chairman, Todd Korchin, as well as all of the committee members who made this event so special and successful. This event also marked the end of Kevin Johnson's two-year Presidential term, and the passing of the torch to Joe Flanagan as NBM's President. Thank you to Kevin for his hard work and dedication to our organization. We look forward to continuing our mission of networking, educating, and encouraging the Public Works profession together!?

Winter Maintenance Operator Certificate program registration is open! This four-hour workshop takes place on November 13th at the enVision Hotel Mansfield-Foxboro and provides a well-rounded overview of snow & ice control for those staff behind the wheel during snow operations. What a day! We had an amazing turnout at our annual Equipment Show this week. Thank you to the Town of Wellesley, MA Department of Public Works for hosting us, and thank you to all of the generous sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and committee members who made this an event a success. We raised over $1,500 for our scholarship fund and enjoyed a great day of networking - along with delicious food trucks. We hope to see you at next year's event!
