Founded in 2013, New Bridges for Haitian Success is a nonprofit organization based in Rhode Island, dedicated to empowering and uplifting the Haitian community. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and services to Haitian immigrants, fostering their successful integration and promoting social, economic, and cultural development. We offer programs in education, legal assistance, healthcare access, and community outreach to ensure that every individual can thrive and achieve success in their new home. Through partnerships and collaboration with local organizations and service providers, we strive to bridge the gap for Haitian immigrants, helping them navigate the challenges of language, employment, and adaptation to U.S. society. Especially enjoyed the talk delivered by Dr. Marlene Daut reminding us of the unique importance of the Haitian Revolution in igniting abolition worldwide. It was also great to hear Sen. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve received 5 official citations from the State of Rhode Island for the work we’ve been doing through Haiti Policy House! This recognition came during the annual gala hosted by NEW BRIDGES FOR HAITIAN SUCCESS! These citations were awarded by: 1. Governor Daniel McKee 2. U.S. Senator Jack Reed 3. Secretary of State Gregg Amore 4. Providence City Council President Rachel Miller 5.
