The Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland, Oregon, works to enrich the lives of our Native youth and families through education, community involvement, and culturally specific programming. We have provided educational services, cultural arts programming, and direct support to reduce poverty to the Portland metropolitan area's American Indian and Alaska Native community for over 40 years. Join the NAYA Team! There are several open positions including the Reimagining Justice in Cully - Project Coordinator This is a highly visible and highly collaborative role. The Reimagining Justice in Cully Project aims to convene members of the Cully neighborhood, law enforcement and local government to explore alternative approaches to public safety to address lower-level crimes in a manner that reflects the needs and values of the community. This role is a member of NAYA’s Community Development department and reports to Edy Martinez, Our 42nd Avenue District Manager. NAYA aims to uplift and support Two Spirit youth, helping them to connect with their cultural identities and communities. The Two Spirit Program Coordinator will collaborate with internal and external partners to build a network of support for Two Spirit youth aged 8 to 24.
