I am thankful everyday for choosing to become an architect at the age of 16! So many years down the road, with enormous number of obstacles as an immigrant-woman-architect entrepreneur in the way, I still consider myself lucky in having chosen a very fulfilling profession. Yesterday, as the Chair of CAD Design competition of NAWIC Greater New York Chapter 240, I got to announce an exciting design competition for Internet Hub Study Zone to seniors at High School for Construction Trades, Engineering & Architecture. These high schoolers have an advanced understanding of the design and drawing production in the AEC industry and were excited about the competition. All the best, may the best candidate win!
