William Palmer, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Commanding Officer, at the #NAVSUP #FLCJ headquarters at NAS Jacksonville, Florida. Last Friday, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville leadership met members of our Logistics Response Team at the Jacksonville International Airport upon the team's arrival back home after a 30-day detail to Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Congratulations to our teams at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, and Naval Station Mayport, Florida, on being named the Commander Naval Air Forces Ashore Supply Excellence Awards (Blue E) winners! The award is based on the results of annual supply management inspections in 2024. NAS Jacksonville and NS Mayport received grades of “OUTSTANDING” with scores above 95. Last Thursday and Friday, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville hosted two NFL legends; former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick and former Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith. ?? During the visit, the two Super Bowl winning coaches spent time with #NAVSUP #FLCJ Sailors and civilians, went aboard the USS John Basilone (DDG 112), toured the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 50 Helicopter Simulator, and visited the Patrol Squadron 45 (VP-45) on Naval Station Mayport, Florida. ?? Coach Billick also as the guest speaker at the #NavySupplyCorp Birthday Ball in Jacksonville, Florida. ?? Big thanks to coach Billick and coach Smith for spending time with our #NavySupply team!
