Demesa was recognized for improving combat systems readiness by integrating expeditionary engineering into the Navy and Marine Corps manufacturing ecosystem. His dedication and commitment have contributed to America remaining the preeminent maritime force in the world. ?? The command award was established in honor of the late Yeh, a former flight analyst at NSWC Corona, who dedicated his career to advancing creative and innovative technical solutions for the warfighter, Navy and Nation. Our Commanding Officer Capt. Joseph Burgon recently attended the Riverside Military Affairs Council to provide an overview of our mission and discuss how the #NavyinNorco is supporting warfighting readiness. The Military Affairs Council hosted by the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce helps maintain a strong relationship between the greater Riverside community and regional military commands, including NSWC Corona. ?? ?? This week, we honored our Technical Director Ms. Dianne Costlow, SES as she retires from an incredible 40-year career serving NSWC Corona, our US Navy, and Nation! Ms. Costlow launched her technical career at NSWC Corona in 1985, assessing component production test systems of the Quickstrike Mine and Standard Missile. Throughout her career, Ms. Costlow has served in every technical department and made critical contributions to warfighting readiness, from championing advanced data analytics capability initiatives for the Navy to engineering the Fleet’s Live-Virtual-Constructive training environment. Ms. Costlow’s leadership and expertise has boosted our military’s readiness, increased our lethality, and positively impacted the lives of those she has served with. We are responsible for disseminating calibration guidance to over 2,750 personnel across the Naval enterprise. Our Measurement Science and Engineering Department ensures accurate and traceable measurements to international standards to reduce the risk of wrong test decisions and improve Fleet lethality. ?? NSWC Corona recently supported the first-ever deployment of America’s Mid-Band Initiative Team system instrumentation suites, marking a significant milestone in the United States Department of Defense's national spectrum management capability. The NSWC Corona-developed eCANNAB tool allows the US Navy to process, track and report maritime cannibalizations across the fleet, saving time, bolstering efficiency and enhancing ship readiness. ?
