Mississippi State University Raspet Flight Research Laboratory deployed its Uncrewed Aircraft, Teros, built by Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation to support post-Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. Backed by Project JUSTICE, the 44-foot wingspan drone provided long-duration aerial assessments of flood damage in Georgia, transmitting real-time data to FEMA and NOAA. The high-resolution images and video helped direct ground crews to critical areas, enhancing the efficiency of the recovery. The Raging Parakeet UAS utilizes advanced AI and data fusion software to interpret the sensor data onboard the platform, recognizing and identifying targets, removing the need to transmit the data to the ground and accelerate the kill chain.
